Carene Deluxe Metal & Blue Fountain Pen combines a streamlined design base with a deep blue lacquer body and elegant silver trim. In particular, the Deluxe Metal Blue series is the most luxurious of the Karen line, with its unstoppable stripe and elegant platinum plating as the model that best matches the cap of the wave pattern stripe symbolizing the Waterman.

Carene is one of the most popular models in the country with dynamic images. The streamlined 18K 750 gold nib features a feed bar that doesn't dry easily because it's not exposed, and Waterman's typical solid-rigid pen makes the tip sharp and fun of writing.  

Waterman traditionally uses a heavy brass barrel on the body of every fountain pen. The deep black lacquer ring on the brass barrel, which is not visible in the resin, shows a dark color and gloss.

This is a more elegant product than a regular lacquer cap, and the 23K gold ring and clip with WATERMAN PARIS engraved in an intaglio is gorgeous and firmly fixed, providing excellent functionality.
